Like a lot of folks, I have been around firearms most of my life. When I took my original class for my Conceald Handgun License in 1999, there were MANY questions unanswered. I received my license and started pursuing knowledge and training about self defense with my handgun and without. I bring a lot of this information to the CHCL class to better enhance your knowledge.
I have been an NRA Certified Instructor since 2001 with certification to teach:
-Basic Pistol Instruction
-Self Defense with Handgun
Certified Arkansas Conceal Handgun Carry Licensed Instructor (02-415) since 2002. I enjoy what I do very much, take my instruction very seriously and am learning more all the time, to help me and you.
I train with Gabe Suarez from Suarez Int’l. and, at this time, have received certificates in:

My goal is to help you be a safe and responsible gun owner, to acquire the level of shooting ability and/or self protection with a firearm that you are comfortable with, and to help prepare you in mind and thought process to do what could be necessary to protect yourself, your loved ones or a perfect stranger in need.
INSTRUCTION PROVIDED
ARKANSAS CONCEAL HANDGUN CARRY LICENSING CLASS - 1 day
Take a State Police approved class to receive a license that allows you to carry a concealed handgun in Arkansas and 35 more states! Class is $90 paid in advance (see contact page for info on this) or $100 on the day of the class. You will be expected to pay a range fee of $15 + tax to the range on class day. State fee is $144.25 ($150.00 on line) and is NOT needed the day of class. All paperwork, handouts and fingerprinting provided! You will need a pistol (doesn't have to be your own and I prefer you bring a caliber other than .22), a minimum of 20 rounds ammunition and your Ar. drivers license.

INTRODUCTION TO DEFENSIVE PISTOL
4 hours $100 Sept 24, 2011
This class is designed to take the new or untrained handgun owner and give them the essential self defense shooting skills in a short four hour session. Students will learn administrative and basic defensive gun handling skills along with the fundamentals of marksmanship and their defensive application. This course is ideal for the new gun owner or those interested in learning to shoot defensively.

DEFENSIVE PISTOL SKILLS : $350 - 2 days
Oct. 22&23, 2011
In this class you will learn that shooting is EASY and it is EASY to be a good shot. You will also learn some proven techniques to help you train and develop the essential skills to better defend yourself, be a safer gunhandler/shooter, a better, more confident citizen with a gun.
This class is now a prerequisite class to the Force on Force gunfighting skills class. This class will better prepare you with the skills, confidence and readiness to achieve a higher lever of advanced training. 300 rounds ammo minimum
WINNING THE GUNFIGHT 1 day $200
This one day training session will do two things. One, it will show you the failings and inefficiencies of the vast majority of range training taking place in the USA by public and private sector entities. Two, it will show you what you can do, and how you can change your skills and training to not only survive an unexpected attack, but to decisively win a reactive gunfight. No ammunition necessary for this course, all equipment is provided for use.

As many of you know, I have been fortunate enough to be blessed with the company of instructors at SI and will be bringing a quality of training un-equalled in this area and tri-state region. I will bring in other SI instructors as well for their expertise and training. ONE-ON-ONE INSTRUCTION
Personal instruction is available for you. Single or groups are ok. Call for price and arrangements. This training can be done at the range or any place of your choosing. This training will help you get more comfortable with your handgun by building/gaining confidence in your ability to load/unload, feild strip and clean your handgun and learning the fundamentals of safe gun handling and gun safety.

Randy Harris is a Tier 1 Suarez International Staff Instructor and will be instructing this class! If you are really interested in learning how to defend yourself and/or others in a real 'fight for your life' gunfight, you need to attend this class. TRAUMA MEDCINE FOR THE CCW OPERATOR
6-2&3-2012
Scott Vaughn and Dr. Kieth Seto will show you how to manage a trauma situation for yourself and/or a family member/friend in a TRAUMA situation in a gunfight or any other place. Learn about splinting and tourniquets, along with much more medical information that anyone can use with proper instruction, in everyday life threatening situatons and even while fightng off the 'Bad Guy' with your pistol while putting a tourniquet on yourself one handed! You need to be able to fix whatever it is you need to fix! Even a Dr. can't fix everything out in public, but there are problems we can take care of and we need to know how to accomplish this! RIFLE GUNFIGHTING 10-6&7-2012
Don Robinson is a Tier 1 Suarez International Staff instructor and will conduct this awesome class for rifle fighters! You're not planning to be a rifle fighter? You need to have a plan, and this will be one that is sure to show you how to fight with your rifle. You already know how to use your rifle....great! Don will show us how, in a way only some of the best fighters in the world know!
